QuoteCove is a voice-first estimate and invoice app for independent contractors, available on iOS. Contact us anytime at support@quotecove.app.
What we don't do
No account required. Your estimates, invoices, clients, and photos stay on your device and in your personal iCloud — we cannot read them. No ads. No tracking. No cookies on this site.
- We do not collect your contacts, location, or browsing history.
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
What is sent to our servers
Two things, and only two things:
- Job description text. When you tap "Draft Estimate", the transcribed job description is sent to our server, which forwards it to our AI provider (Anthropic) to draft line items. Before sending, the app strips client names, phone numbers, email addresses, and street addresses from the text on your device. The text is not used for AI training and is not stored after the response is returned — our server keeps no copy.
- An anonymous device identifier and usage counts. A random identifier (not linked to you, your Apple ID, or any personal information) is used to count AI drafts and prevent abuse. Monthly usage counters expire automatically; the lifetime free-quota counter persists but contains only the anonymous identifier and a number.
Speech recognition
Voice transcription is processed on your device whenever possible. When on-device recognition is unavailable, audio is processed by Apple's speech service under Apple's terms. We never receive or store your audio.
Subscriptions and payments
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. To verify Pro status, the app may send Apple's signed subscription receipt to our server; it is checked and discarded, not stored.
Data retention and deletion
Your on-device data is yours. To erase everything, open Settings → Delete All Data in the app — this removes all documents, clients, prices, and photos from your device and your iCloud private database. Server-side monthly usage counters expire automatically.
AI drafts are suggestions
QuoteCove never sets prices for you. Drafts use your saved price book and what you said — you are responsible for reviewing all prices before sending. QuoteCove does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.
Children
QuoteCove is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
